The motives for her works are the travels to the various places in Europe. She rearranges the fresh memories of the scenes to her own new images and puts the spiritual composure into her drawings.
Her works were not done because of her wish to draw something or hope for any ambitions, but she simply puts an object into her eyes and mind. She eliminates all the techniques and superfluity of the formative language, and works for her precious time.

Junee Kim works on the scenes of nature and the objects of the naive and natural sensibility. In other words, she confirms the true meanings of life through the process of her works.
She puts colorful dots and lines in her sketches so that her works of art look like the oriental paintings that are simple and even divine.
She majored in art at Hongik University, and after that, she moved to New York and spent a long time there. Her continuous life became the root of the world of her works.
